Nothing gets built until there's capacity to serve it, and the utility's timeline isn't yours. The conventional workaround costs you land — disposal fields and percolation ponds sitting on acreage you could have platted, usually on the best-drained ground you own. Treat to a higher standard and that math changes. Where surface water discharge is available, the disposal field goes away. Where land application is the path, the field is sized by nutrient loading, and low-nutrient effluent means a fraction of the acreage. Either way, you get land back.

Dairy, poultry, produce, beverage — your stream is strong and it swings with the production schedule. Biology hates that, which is why a shock load costs you weeks and your surcharge is worst in season. There is nothing alive in our process to upset. Water is a siting constraint now, not a line item, and the communities you want to build in are asking harder questions about draw. Cooling at high cycles concentrates dissolved solids until blowdown becomes its own disposal problem. We close the loop — your own stream treated back to the specification you name, sized to today's load and phased as you build, with the monitoring record you'll need for disclosure.

Your allocation is set by people who have never walked your operation, and it gets revisited every year. Water produced on your own site isn't subject to that. We treat to the reuse standard your program has to meet, at the volume you actually irrigate, on a schedule set by your season rather than by a drought declaration.

Space is the constraint that kills most shipboard treatment, and Annex IV compliance is not optional. Our footprint is small relative to throughput, and there is no living culture to carry through variable occupancy or lay-up — nothing starves between seasons. Water is recovered for onboard non-potable use, and the system can be monitored from shore.

PFAS is dissolved, and dissolved load doesn't come out by separation — it comes out at the membrane. The full train with reverse osmosis is what reaches non-detect. What Eco Separation does is protect that membrane, which is the difference between RO that lasts and RO you keep replacing.
